In Scotland, there are many stones brought here from thousand kilometers away. They are different from the stones native to the areas where they are found. I was struck by this story, and I decided to associate stones with the personalities of immigrants. If you look closer, in many stones you can see faces. I emphasize this resemblance in my works.
